Here's an interesting site where you can make money writing.  It's called Trendhunters.  If you are good at spotting trends and like writing, this is a good program.  You don't have to have a website or blog to participate, but if you do, you can post trends from your own site and link back to it which gives you an added plus for being able to promote your own site and make money with Trendhunters at the same time.

You sign up for an account (free, of course) there is never a cost to be a trendhunter.  Create your portfolio, and write posts on the latest trends.  The way you make money is through revenue sharing, so you will need a Google Adsense Account.  If you do not have an Adsense account, no problem.  Just sign up with Trendhunters and pick the username that will become part of your own url which in turn will be your own Trendhunter's site name that you can use to sign up with Google Adsense.  Then follow the guidelines for submitting your Adsense ID to them.
Some Trendhunters generate $50 per post, but the site says that typically most run less at $2 to $10 for a published trend.  Still not bad for something that sounds really fun.
They have great tips for you to use to make your posts more popular which equals more money for you.  As yet, Trendhunters has no referral program , but the more buzz your posts generates means more traffic to the site which is already massive and more exposure for you.
