Don't worry, we used koolaid on the little mutt!  It's actually a miniature poodle and belongs to my neighbor.  The kids thought it would be cool to color her pink for halloween last year.  We let them do it with koolaid packets because we did not want to use any products that might hurt the dog.  And it didn't.  But after I thought about it, I wondered if we all really knew what would hurt or irritate her skin.
Kinda wish I had found ZooToo first, an online community where you can learn about and share your pets. 
Yes, the site is free and not only that, but you can get free samples for your pets.  The more you participate in the community, the higher the level you reach in ZooToo.  You can meet other people that are crazy about pets, too and learn more about your little darling and  how to help all pets.
