Travel Medical Insurance

I think something we don't think about when traveling is insurance. When you go on a trip, you don't know what's going to happen you just think of the way it's supposed to go with all the great things attached and not that you might need travel medical insurance. Something bad happening on a trip is not what you budgeted for, so it would be a good thing to have that extra comfort that if something does happen that is not planned for, you will be covered.

For The Horse Fanatic

My boss is the greatest horse enthusiast! I think he and his family now own about 20 horses. When he ain't getting kicked by one, he's giving it the best and utmost care and is so proud of each and everyone. As we are getting together this year to decide on the best gift for him, I found this site that has the most beautiful english saddles that I know he would love. I think this will most definitely earn me some brownie points for it being my idea!! Hee hee.

Make yourself feel good by doing for someone else this season. I don't mean go out and spend a bunch of money. I mean do something for someone that can't do for themselves or that will be alone this holiday. Whether it be a bash at your home with other than family invited, or for people that have a home (or not) but are just alone. We all know someone like this. Not someone that has a job and can do for themselves, but someone that is shut in, you know? I think that would be a great thing for this holiday.

You all know that last year my son took a fantastic trip to Vegas with his dad. His dad's idea is that presents for Christmas are soon forgotten, but that a trip with memories will last so much longer and bond a family. I have to agree with him on that. And looking for Vegas vacations in your price range is the best way to go. Find a trip that will go along with your Christmas budget and adjust things as you go, you know what I mean? Take all that money that you would have spent on meaningless gifts and try to fit it in with a trip, maybe not Vegas, but the mountains or somewhere memorable for your family.

We've talked about diet pills on my site and how I used them to first start my metabolism, alli is another one that has a good name. While these may be good to use at the beginning, I still advocate the good diet and movement that goes with any healthy lifestyle. This just makes whatever you are doing work so much better. At least walk for a few minutes per day to get up your lung function and your stamina.

This Is Huge To Me

I have been lamenting the fact that myself and my son have had so few pictures lately and I found that I can use
memory cards to take to places like walmart and have them printed in any size I wish! Now, of course, I know that the better the camera, the better the picture, but this is so great! I did not even know I could get a memory card for my little camera that would hold so many more pictures!

Ain't it funny how when we are young we just can't wait to get older?
    I remember turning 13 and Cindy, my best friend, who's 13th birthday was still eight months away, immediately claimed to anyone who'd listen that she was 13, too. At the time I was a little resentful. I mean, this was my time. Finally, after like forEVer, I was a teenager!
    Becoming a teen brought about the breathless anticipation of turning 16. As each year passed and I turned another year older, so did Cindy. When the big day came we celebrated together as we could both claim that magical age to boys. Oh m'God!! It was a great time and I did not mind anymore that she claimed my age. We were, after all, best friends forever.


Of course the eons it took for us to turn 18 were full of the same "can't wait" attitude. 18 meant we were adults and could do whatever we wanted. Except drink alcohol. So 21 became the new goal. There we found that drinking was not quite as fun as it was cracked up to be. Especially the next day! But we took it all in stride and had so much fun growing up together.
    And grow up we did. Cindy and I are both mothers who are teens now themselves and still keep in touch. She had the opportunity to tell me "Happy 40th Birthday" recently. I thanked her and asked how old she was.
    Cindy smiled, winked, and very firmly said, "39!"

If you like at their site, you will find a SALE folder in the top right of the page. There you have the name brand stuff at lower sale prices. This is the kind of opportunity that a lot of people miss when shopping. They just do the search for the item they are looking for and forget to check out the store or the page for sale or clearance items, you might find something you like even cheaper than what you thought.

Kick start that metablolism, that's all I've ever done to lose this weight. I don't promote diet pills in the extreme, I mean don't take them all the time, but to get things started, you may want a fast fat burner if for nothing else, to assure you that you are losing. Just make sure that you know the risks and start a great food regimen that consist of lots of fruits and vegetables and cereals. That and moving around, whether it be walking or taking the stairs, is a sure fire way to lose weight.

I gained 5 pounds!

Just so you know, even with all the ribbing I got about losing weight and everyone wondering if something was wrong with me, I started eating and doing all the things I used to, and within 2 weeks, I gained 5 pounds! So, I can still gain, I am not losing because I can't quit.
Anyway, now I am back to eating healthy and took another 2 off. We'll see how I do with the vacation time.

All Your Attachments

It does not matter how well your new computer is equipped, you will still need some attachment like a CAT5e or something. I told the guy the other day, when buying a new laptop, that I would need a mouse. "Here it is", he said, showing me the little touch thingy in the middle. "That ain't mouse!" I told him, hence another attachment, I see. Oh, well, technology.

Buy Patio Furniture Now or Two Weeks Ago

This is the time of year to buy patio furniture. Check your Walmart, Fred's, etc, all the closeout stores and find the greatest deals. I just got a big table with 4 chairs, and a small decorative table with 2 folding chairs and pillows to boot! for $180. This completes my deck furnishing and then some. Anything you need for outdoors is on sale this time of year and even though the weather makes you thing of indoor stuff, think of what you will need for next year.
